Herald of agony
I bought this miniature a few months ago and decided to paint this Herald of agony in a grimdark style. I also wanted to try my home-brew oil washes. The work is still in progress. I used an acrylic base with my airbrush with a very cold beige, a very dark grey/brown on the cape, and pure black on the hair. For the mitre, I used Vallejo gold Alcohol-Base. I really liked this line of metallics in the past, but I found them less easy to work with when they turned old. For the steel, I used Pro-Acryl dark silver. I applied some dark-tone Army Painter acrylic wash to mute the metals. I decided to airbrush the arms with some carroburg crimson, and then I applied my oil washes. The red on the hands was not intense enough, so I used some X27 and X19 by Tamiya. The base is not as detailed as I wanted, but I decided not to focus on it as this miniature was more of a fun project to enjoy the grimdark process. I will post the end result soon.

Muskets and Tomahawks terrain
The first post of 2025 is about Musket and Tomahawk's terrain. I spent a few hours crafting some decor to start playing the game. Most of the material is foam, I used my Proxxon and a glue gun for most of the work. I also had access to some Dungeons by Hand for the shingles. The fences are made of craft and bing matches sticks. The Native American village was more challenging, I had to do some research about Northern East Coast Native American longhouses and wigwams, and it took me some time to decide which technique would be the best again, I decided to use foam to simulate the bark. Some STL files are around but my goal was to use only the material I had on hand and to use my brain. Overall, it is ok, I had to compromise.

Warmaster army storage
This summer I painted an Orcs army to play Warmaster again. I was looking for a convenient and cheap way to store this army and a late Roman army for Warmaster Ancient. I found 6$ craft storage boxes, I added some roof flashing sheets and some screws and it was done. I am pleased with the result. The magnetized sheets are really versatile!
Clippers
A short post about the new Clippers I found online. In the past 30 years, I used 4 different clippers and they were working more or less the same, but not this time! These clippers cut like a charm, and I have, most of the time, nothing to sand after. If you are looking for a new tool, try this brand!

Green Stuff World Oxidizer
This is a short post today to present my test with the Green Stuff World oxidizer effect. I still have to try it on miniatures, but I enjoy the result for these terrain pieces.

News
Hello! I just want today to provide a short update about my activities as a creator. I considerably increased my interests during the past few years and miniatures are not anymore my main focus. I discovered the joy of blacksmithing, woodworking or block printing. That doesn't mean I will stop painting and play. To be honest I did so many commissions for miniatures that I needed a break to light again the flame and concentrate of my personal work. See you next time! Oh! By the way, the name of the blog change to pierredeyriscreations.

Call of Cthulhu, corrupted book handout
Well you may not know but I am a huge fan of the Call of Cthulhu tabletop rpg by Chaosium. I like it for a lot of reasons, one of them is preparing the handouts. This weekend I worked on a corrupted book. I will use it to share clues and other stuff with players during games. This is the level you can expect if you play with me.

Edoneth Deepkin painting commission
The mysterious Edoneth Deepkin are great to paint! I do not play anymore AOS for a long time but I still enjoy painting miniatures for it.
