The only mini of this summer

I was a bit lasy this summer. I started many stuff but the Enforcer for Dreadball was the only one I finished !

Holidays are over !

Ok, holidays are over and it's time to come back to my hobby ! First afternoon for me yesterday  in my club after a long break for summer. A little Conan game with the rules of Song of blades and heroes et a little one of Blood & Steel a home made rule. I will come back soon with some news for september.

Some crooked dice minis... Now I can start my Planet of Apes project.

Copplestone Castings Cavemen

So I received today my minis from Copplestone Castings for my Planet of the Apes project. And to be very honest it was a very good surprise because the minis are really, really great. Sculptures and moulds are very good. The expressions of faces are great too. I did not think that this brand produced such good minis in this scale. So if you have a pulp project, scifi, etc. And if you hesitate, you can place order blindly.

J'ai reçu mes figurines Copplestone Castings aujourd'hui, pour mon projet Planète des singes. Et pour être très honnête c'est une très, très bonne surprise, parce que les figurines sont vraiment top. La sculpture, les tirages sont super, les expressions des visages aussi. Franchement je ne pensais pas que cette marque produisait de si belles figurines. Si vous avez un projet pulp, science fiction, etc. N'hésitez pas à passer commande les yeux fermés.

A little test with my new armie for AMW. A nice game even if I losed. I will have my revenge next time ! Un petit test avec ma nouvelle armie lors d'une partie d'AMW. Même si j'ai perdu c'était une chouette partie. J'aurais ma revanche la prochaine fois !

Some folks ask me several times, what the f... is Ancient & Medieval Wargaming by Neil thomas ? What can I say ? It's a nice piece of rules dude ! It's perfect rules for new wargamers, initiations or for old piece of meat like me, cause with my 37 years I like to many periods to play to much different rules. It's fast, fun and bloody gore and historical. I like the system of units and the fact that you can prepare a lot of armies in a year.

Carthage vs Greeks

Yesterday was a good day to loose a game ! My elephants turned berserks and my infantry was crap. But it was fun to play again Ancient and Medieval Wargaming, the game by Neil Thomas. This rule is pretty good, fast and fun.

Hier était une belle journée pour perdre une partie ! Mes éléphants se sont transformés en bersekers et mon infanterie était toute pourrie. Mais c'était sympa de jouer à nouveau à la règle Ancient and Medieval Wargaming de Neil Thomas. Une règle sympa, rapide et fun.

Five years ! Five years to get the budget. The choice was difficult between all of them. But I found a great Evolution Silverline and a pretty good compressor for 249 euros. A review of this material is on my desk.
